Markhor- horned goat

MARKHOOR in English as known as Screw Horn or Screw-horned goat. Markhoor is the National animal of Pakistan.The word markhoor comes from both the Pushto and classical Persian languages. Markhoor is the largest of the goat family, found in Northern areas of Pakistan largely in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. These animals are extremely skilled in hard climbing.  May 24 is proclaimed by the UN as the International day of Markhoor, where Pakistan has sponsored a resolution, supported by 8 other countries. The current existing population of Markhoor ranges from 3500 to 5000 in Pakistan, mostly found in KP along with Balochistan and Gilgit Biltistan. Continued...

Earth Day 2021

Every year on 22nd April, earth day is observed. It is observed as a struggle for the environmental protection. 
Earth day 2021: The Earth Day 2021 theme is to Restore our Earth and features five primary programs: The Canopy Project, Food and Environment, Climate Literacy, The Global Earth Challenge, and the Great Global CleanUP. The Biden administration organized a Leaders Summit on Climate on Earth Day 2021. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earth_Day.

Again some good news circulated that Pakistan has been invited to summit on climate. Due to its recent past experiences in the plantation domain, Pakistan can betterly share its wisdom. Most importantly, the world community should be urged to cooperate in knowledge and expertise sharing. The vulnerable states should be logistically supported by means of providing huge resources under the supervision of The United Nations.  

The White House press release issued today as quoting the president remarks as:

President Biden in his speech remarked as, In addition, today we are issuing America’s first-ever International Climate Fi- — Finance Plan.  This plan represents our vision for financing the gloma- — the global climate response in a coordinated way.  It lays out specific steps that federal agencies of the United States will take to increase both the quality and quantity of climate financing.
 
And it will help us spur the private sector to contribute more to climate solutions in developing nations and here at home as well.
 
You know, this moment demands urgency.  Good ideas and good intentions aren’t good enough.  We need to ensure that the financing will be there, both public and private, to meet the moment on climate change and to help us seize the opportunity for good jobs, strong economies, and a more secure world.
